Queries On The Indica Dicor's Footwear

I've been wondering about this for a while.
They are 165x65R14, apparently the same as the turbo, but the manual recommends higher air pressure for them.

Similarly, the height and some other specs are a bit different for the dicor. I think the body is the same , which leads me to suspect the wheels again.

Can someone please Throw some light on this

I have also been apprehensive of this. My Indigo (2003) model owners manual specifies 26 psi pressure which I feel is too low. I understand the recent model specifies a higher pressure.

I don't think that you have 165/65 R14, it should be 175/65 R14.

Ishan, I think Indica Dicor comes with 165/65-14 Bridgestone S322.

I think 24psi is way too less for an Indica.

aight. here are the specs , straight out of the manual.
NA- 165/65 R13 Tyres, 30 psi front, 28 psi rear
Turbo-165/65 R14, 28 psi front, 24 psi rear
Dicor- 165/65 R14, 36 psi front, 28 psi rear

Track front : 1400 for NA/TC, 1380 for dicor
Track Rear: 1380 for NA/TC , 1374 for DiCOR

overall height: 1485 for NA/TC, 1500 for DiCOR

GC : 166 for NA/TC, 165 for DICOR

ok, now here is the spec, can anyone say why they are different for what is essentially the same car

PS: my DLG has Bridgestone S322's

tyre pressure..

I have the same doubt. The owners manual suggested 28psi front and 24psi rear for my DLX turbo Indica.

When I went to the tyre shop and switched to tubeless tyres, the guy really gave a weird look when I asked him to put 28/24.. he whined a couple of times and said 'tata motors will say anything saar, tyre pressure should be 32psi else FE will be very bad'..

after some talking he agreed to put 30psi for all tyres.. nothing less than this..

why is the recommended tyre pressure so difference for these models? and what is the correct tyre pressure for indica turbo dlx, front and rear?

DLX/DLG has 14" tyres as opposed to the others which have 13" Maybe that's why
