Civic blows away lot of dust from the ground underneath. This is visible if you stop the car of a dusty surface, and revup the engine to 1500 rpm. I felt it is from rear side of the car, hence suspecting some gap or hole in exhaust system.

Not sure whether this is yet another expected honda design !!. Did any Civic owners felt this or its just an issue with my car. ?

Is there any change in the exhaust sound?

In some cars, it may be due to the radiator-fan, which blows air onto the engine, and that hot air after picking up heat from the engine bay, exits underneath the car. This is normal.

You can verify this by immediately taking the car onto dusty road in the morning or before the temp needle reaches its threshold.

The fan comes up only after the engine is heated to a certain temperature/ during A/C usage and not always.

If you can still see dust blowing, leakage might be present.

Take it to an A.S.S. and up the ramp.

Ask a friend to help you check out if the air is from the front or the rear.
