Gear engagement problem.

Hi,

Recently I have noticed that in the mornings when I start my Safari Dicor 3.0L and try to engage the second gear after the first, there is quite a hardness in the gear engagement (i.e I need to exert more force manually) and then the same thing happens when I downshift from the 3rd to the 2nd gear. The issue is that this happens only when I initially start off in the mornings or even in the evenings.

The point at issue is that after driving the vehicle for sometime the gears engage properly. Please help as I am not able to understand what the problem could be because earlier this issue was not there, further to this my safari has done about 41K and had its clutch plates changed at 35K.
