Hi all
My Honda City 1.3, type 1, 1998 model recently have problems in slow speed and acceleration. It runs with a jerking motion now and then. The yellow colour check-light glows intermittently.

When I took to the garage, they say the problem is with the throttle body/sensors and the ECM, and they both have to be replaced.

Would greatly appreciate a cheaper solution from the team-bhp, members.

Regards

As far as i know you will just have to get your throttle body & injectors checked & cleaned & ECM to be put on the scanner & check for error codes. This should sort out your problem. Cause even i had faced the same problem of jerky driving on my Santro & got my throttle body & injectors cleaned & she is running damn smooth. But just make sure they have got the necessary jobs done on your car as they claim to do it but the reality is something else.I got it done from a private garage.

Niki

take your battery terminal (negative off) for 15 mins. Re connect and try driving if this doesn't solve it get help from some garage that has a scanner for codes. And confirm.

hi
