Sorry for the OT but does having the reading lamps turned on for one whole night drain the battery enough to cause it to under perform?

I mean could this lead to an early slow drain out?!

isnt this true for all branded stuff?? computers for instance?? normally your hard drive would carry a 5 yr warranty and most of the remaining components 3 yrs. but the manufacturer (HP, DELL, Compaq.....) all give only one year warranty..... its strange but i guess thats the way it works!
