Water in Running board of my Zen

Guys, like last year, water has again entered the running board of my Zen due to some water logged area i had to drive through. I tried to clean the drain holes which are there below the running board so that the water can come out. However, its is still there and not coming out. Please help me to get it out as I don't want it to get rusted.

Thanks!

Remove the carpet fully and let it dry outside after washing it, meanwhile wash the inside of the car and wipe it clean (floor area), allow it to dry. You have to remove the seats and gear lever console for the same.

That is only possible if there is a hole in the running board somewhere. You will have to eliminate the source otherwise it will create more problems.

AFAIK, there are 2 holes on either side of the running board for the water to drain out. I went to the service station and got the clogged water out.

Did they offer you any solution to the problem? I hope the water is not entering through the drain holes themselves! If it is then it might a good idea to probably seal it off to avoid water coming in.

lol i mis read your post sorry.

Pressure wash helps to clear of the muck, leaves etc that get stranded and block the drainage provision for running board.

I hope they are sealed by a cap? Blowing air through the holes might help in drying the water. But I am not sure how effective it will be, you can give it a try.
