Now this is great!

Way to go Toyota! Atleast we have one MNC car company which treats a customer as he want to be treated, a King! :-)

Taking ownership of the issue and rectifying it shows their true professional nature.

Wishing Toyota all the more success with their new release!

HONDA - are you reading this???

Honda may be reading this as well as lot of honda lovers on this forum but they would not comment on the same.

What rider meant I'm presuming is that while the person placed the sticker there during manufacture he could have noticed the irregularity so surprising he let it pass.

The sticker fellow (may be a machine?) might not have a process to help him to identify the fault.
Kudos to Toyota for their customer support.

Fantastic job, Toyota...a pat on the back is well-deserved. Honda could probably learn a thing or two from you, considering Jmathews recent thread where a repainted Civic was sold to him as new.

Some food for thought : During the early days of Lexus' launch, a lady reported a problem whereby her heel broke when using the accelerator pedal. Guess what? They repositioned the damn pedal for more comfort on all their models. At another time, there was a minor recall that applied to some 3,000 cars. Instead of asking customers to bring their cars over, Lexus sent engineers to the owner's houses and got the changes implemented. Right then and there.
