Vibrating Brake pedal!! What reasons?

I have recently noticed this problem on my Xeta which has clocked 36,000km.

When I press the brake pedal, it viibrates and also a distinct and easily audible sound comes from the brakes. This happens at a greter degree when slowing down from higher speeds. The brake pads were changed at 25,000km.

I suspect that the discs need to be grinded. What else could be the reasons and solutions?

You are right. The discs most certainly are warped. They will need to be faced.

The brake discs and the new brake pads are having a bad marriage

Disc facing takes an hour or so so it is usually done when the car is given for a service. Cost should be around 800 rupees or so.

Front disc have gone kaput, normally happens when you over use the pads so that revit holding the asbestos coating starts touching the disc. There are two solution, buy a pair of new disc, or give it to a lathe wala. Rs. 200 per disc job. Second solution is possible if and only if the disc is still thick enough.
