Looks like the engine, the car, the thread and the owner are still stalled.
I'm interested in how GM reacted to this and how their tech support and service were.

It is such a old thread however i was looking for current car status? resolved? How GM reacted to this and how their tech support and service were. Any void of warrenty?

Hi ,

Whenever I am a similar water logged situation , I first observe a couple of cars & roughly see the water level in there cars. Then If I feel confident I also try to cross the water . Keeping engine revved & half clutch on 1st gear .

If I dont feel confident , I just park at left side & wait :-) , better to wait 20~25 min than to s***w the engine for good

Why do we drive in water logged conditions in Half Clutch mode?
