My Innova is due for second service next week ( run 4860 kms as of date )
Would be doing the servicing done at Lakozy at Malad
Any helpful pointers on what i should ask the service guys to do in addition to what is prescribed by the company ?
I am told the Oil is not changed at this service
Is Oil change recommended ?

im assuming yours is a diesel? they recommend changing oil at 10k kms but i get mine changed every 5k kms. leave it to toyota. their service is good and wont disappoint you.

also perfect time for a petes box.

Any apparent benefit for the Oil Change @ 5k kms ?
If its worth the moolah, i would be happy to do it
What does the PETE cost and what are the benefits ?

petes and an air filter will make the bhp around 130+. it makes a huge difference.

should cost about 35k. read my review in the long term review section.

I highly recommend getting the oil change; in fact, on any of my brand new cars, I get the oil changed at the 1,000 kms mark. Why? The running-in period results in the engine oil getting contaminated with minute metal fragments.
