Blower noise NHC

I exeperienced a squeeky start up noise from the AC blower in the NHC at blower speed 1 and 2. The dealer rectified it 4 months saying there were some sponge pieces on the blades. It has started coming again. What could be the possible reasion as there seems to be no sponge lining as per the dealer.??

Got it inspected, as per the mechanic some tree leaves had gone in the blower. I am clueless about the matter as he says they might have got sucked in from the fresh air inlet .

That happened to me on my old M800 many years ago. Dry leaves made their way into the blower and used to create a racket. This should not happen on cars nowadays though. They should have a filter to prevent this from happening.

U r best bet is to keep the air inlet closed. Its better if u keep the fresh air inlet off as this avoids smoke and other substances from getting sucked in.

Re: Blower noise NHC

Hi Folks,

Even I noticed the squeeky noise while driving down from Goa to Bangalore yesterday in my Aug-2009 model NHC. The cooling too wasn't very effective. Hope to get it rectified when I give my car for service this weekend.
