Fuel Tank cleaning

I Remember, that when My 97' Maruti 800 DX had a fuel pump problem at I think it was 98000 KM (We covered about 1,70,000 KM Before the engine went kaput) - We cleaned out the Tank as well.

After that, the visible Jerking even before the fuel pump failed just went away and it was perfect till she died.
