I don't think its the tyres. What are the specs of your tyre? And are you on alloys?
Actually, even my CRDi has started vibrating at exactly 110kmph.
Getz annoying at times (pun intended).
Anyways, I guess we are yet to find a reason/cure for this...

It is a Michelin BF Goodrich 195/60 R14. Actually i am saying tyre only because the vibrations seem to be fading away slowly.

Seems there is a cure to the steering vibrations. Refer KPZEN's ownership thread (post by Naman)

It is not just steering vibrations. There is a weird brrr sound too which comes bundled along with this. It also happens at low rev ranges :(

I had this wierd brrr.... noise which appeared to come from the dash in my Getz CRDi at about 1,400 rpm on the tacho. At first free service, this was traced to a loose spring in the rear view mirror.

Was this the rvm outside or the one inside?
