Highway FE 22.6 Km/ltr with Ac on 80 % & speed 100-120kms/hr.(Tankful to Tankful)
Well probably, your car is a 'special' one ? ACI FE figures are reasonably comparable and they made this exact test. I am sorry, you can also see other Palio MJD figures which are lower than Swift DDiS.

Nice mileage figures there. I always get around 12-13 on my Swift VDi in peak traffic hours to and fro. Once or twice I drove very sensibly, keeping the RPM always below 2K, no sudden acceleration etc. It gave me 15.7 and 15.9 on those occasions.
On the highway, best till now would be 19.

I cannot rip in peak traffic, but not sure of the low mileage part. And nowadays in Bangalore, none of the traffic signals have the countdown thing. So cannot turn off the engine in traffic signals. Add to that, people keep closing the gaps in signals. So it is necessary to move inch by inch. If you don't, two wheelers and autowallas start honking.

But whenever I get empty roads, I rip.Especially when I come home late sometimes(11PM-12AM), the roads are deserted. There is the wonderful feeling of the turbo. I just love it. Forget the mileage!

No Matter which one wins, Its Fiats win for its refined engine. The FE can vary from car to car due to its Aero Dynamics, Load, Tyre pressure, weather conditions, Type of Fuel, the way one drive and also in the way they check FE.

Having possibility of somany delta, I dont think comparison is fair.

I usually use normal Diesel. Last time I went to refuel at IOC, only XtraMile premium Diesel was available. Decided to try it out. With normal Diesel, I was getting 19.47 to a litre. Let's see how XtraMile fares.

Cheers!
