Gamerno1,

Looks like all that heavy bass has taken a toll on your electrical system!

As said above the alternator, battery or wiring is the problem. (covered everything there )
My guess is alternator, get ready for a mechanic saying they will have to rewind the alternator!

yea, i guess battery is not a problem as i just replaced it. however the battery guy told me that 'alternator ka problem hai' & a new one costs no less than 6k. if only there was a cheap alternative. the car is a nightmare to drive in traffic.

P.S. > the car is having white bulbs(cheap xenons)/underbody neons/hanbrake plasma & the system itself. also i got power windows. can i do some tweaking with the alternator? any genuine mechanics in andheri? thanks for all the input guys.

repair the altenator or get a capacitor so the system only drains how much battery is needed.

Firstly get the electricals checked

secondly if its a new battery then it is surely an alternator problem

especially since you have so much of boom in the car
but do get it repaired asap

new alternator for zen will cost you around 4300

Allied automobile andheri E maruti spares dealer
Contact sudhir - Ph: 26836443/26839403/26839211

But then an alternator can be repaired and if done properly should not pose a problem just get it checked from time to time....

cheers

Haha...could see that comming. However, keep in mind... it was the "battery guy" who said this!

Ask around if its possible to get a higher amperage alternator for your car, also, im not sure but would it be possible to get it re-wound to provide higher amperage?

yea Rehaan. actually im so upset because i was saving all my funds to get a new 15, (alpine-typeR/mtx-thunderform/*used*jl-audiow3) but since the alternator thing is gonna really empty my pockets, i just have to build a new enclosure & run the amp at 2 ohms(currently running at 4 ohms). bhp gave me a guy's no who deals in these things. will be going there tomorrow afternoon. lets hope for the best!

& amit, click here http://www.carstereo.com/installs/ph...&galleryid=353
goto the second page & check how the HU/handbrake/under-neons combo looks at night

P.S. : will post pics with new rubber & alloys in a day or two
