| ![]() I regularly do 8 to 10 hour drives and find the stock seats good. Mine is an AT, so I can be more relaxed. |

Senior - BHPian | ![]() Yes. Please keep adjusting seat distance, height and steering reach to get the right combo. I just did an 8 hour drive without any problems. Having an AT helps. ![]() Some folks use a small cushion as well. Try it out. Lack of lumbar support could be an issue for some. |

| ![]() Got the second service done by Heritage Honda in Gwalior. Excellent job. Even though the workshop was inundated in the rains the previous day they took the car in at 9:30 and gave it back in the afternoon. Total charges for two services: NIL. Did pay Rs.20 for a blown fuse courtesy my car fridge. The SA was not aware that now Honda advise an oil change only at the 3rd service and wanted to change the oil. On checking with the Service Coupon he agreed, and later had to explain the same to the Service Manager. So obviously the switch to Synthetic is recent. Average over the first 1200km (till II service) 9.47kpl. Last tankful 11.00 kpl (yesterday). Last edited by sgiitk : 26th August 2010 at 11:33. |

However the 5K services include a thorough water wash along with general checks, which can prolong the life of the car in the very long-term. They take around two to three hours only. Anyway for me, the nearest service center is 140 kms away!

Senior - BHPian ![]() | ![]() Address two major gripes I had with my car this week. Changed the noisy OEM tyres with Michelin Primacy LC 205/65 R15 and replaced the poor OEM headlamp bulbs with Philips Extreme Power bulbs of the same wattage. Experience with both so far has been very good. |

| ![]() I found two separate schedules of labour charges when I gave my Civic to Pride Honda Service for her first service today. The job card/service check sheet has the following - 1/5/15/25/35/45/55/65/75/85/95k kms - INR 800 20k kms - INR 1050 10/30/50/70/90k kms - INR 950 40/80k kms - INR 1650 60k kms - INR 11150 (this is probably a typo and there should be only two 1s) 100k kms - INR 1050 Wheel alignment - INR 350 Wheel balancing - INR 400 Interior (don't know what this means) - INR 1600 Exterior (again, don't know what this means) - INR 2400 There was another board in the waiting area which had the following - 15/25/35/45/55/65/75/85/95k kms - INR 800 30/50/70/90k kms - INR 915 20k kms - INR 1050 60/100k kms - INR 1150 40/80k kms - INR 1650 So there are some minor changes. Most notably, the first 3 services (1/5/10k kms) are listed on the job card/service sheet but not on the notice board. Regards, spadix |

| ![]() The cards are the old ones. Even the manual says the same, but with Synth they have doubled the intervals in time. |

How much did the tires cost you? And how has your experience been on them? Primarily on the feedback from the tires and the steering feel. How much did the bulbs cost? I am surprised you got a 9005 HB3 for the Civic. I could not find any when I was hunting bulbs for my car. :( Many thanks, Hiren Last edited by hiren.mistry : 31st August 2010 at 15:27.
