The cops are hopefully on it. I told them - and they have contacted the police control room. If someone nearby in Bangalore can go to the Nelamangala police station / the toll and call me that'd be great though.

Only a matter of time before the cops find the car! Please check the footage of the previous connecting tolls too! Hope you get your car back soon!

He has mostly avoided tolls. Because at least on the Chennai Bangalore highways, there are several tolls that have fastag support on all lanes.

Exactly, A few tolls have FASTag enabled in all the lanes. If that's the case, Wondering how he would have managed to evade all that but got caught in this. Wondering if the car was taken in a container or something till Bangalore.

Almost 6 days now after the car passed through the Nelamangala toll.

He's an idiot for sure. Just to add, Kulumepalya toll plaza has hybrid lanes (Fastag works on all lanes. Cars are generally sent to non-dedicated lanes during night due to long queue of trucks and buses in the dedicated one). The guy must have paid in cash while the tag scan happened. Hope you get it back soon.

Saw this in today's newspaper and remembered this thread about stolen Scorpios, this was one of the vehicle brands targeted by these thieves who operated in Chennai and Bangalore and were involved in theft of 118 SUV's

Amazing. And the last anybody saw of my Scorpio was at a toll near Bangalore, on the Tumkur road. So probably these very crooks.
