Esteem MPFI engine knocked out of place

Its a tale of sheer stupidity. Was engrossed listening to music while approaching a traffic signal and rapidly lifted the clutch without putting the car in neutral. As a result engine started jerking violently and it stopped before I came to senses. Now I can hear a slightly shuddering noise while I start the car or at very low revvs. My guess is damage to engine mounts. Could there be anything else to look out for.

How old is your car?

Engine mounts, clutch plates and axle CV joints. Your noise originates from one of these 3.

Its 2001, 74k on odo.

check the engine mounts. 74 on the odo accounts for engine mounts replacement if not done earlier
