@Jino - Check out the specification & capacity to be filled regarding the coolant in your Owner's manual. Isn't this information available there?

The coolant capacity is not mentioned in the Alto User Manual. I called the service center, but they say they are not sure because they fill coolant + water till the reservoir is full (I think they are trying to trick me into buying coolant from them).

Thanks anky for the info. I am planning for a full flush and replacement of coolant for my Alto Lxi 2008.

I have bought only 1 liter of coolant (1:2 coolant with water means total 3 liters only). That means I need to buy more coolant if I need total 3.5 liters of coolant + water.

Do you suggest anything that I need to look for, when I change the coolant at the work shop? Is it necessary to dismantle the coolant reservoir completely to flush out the old coolant?

@anky,
I got the coolant changed in my Alto Lxi (2008), but I needed only 2.5 liters of "coolant + water" (not 3.5 liters as you suggested).
Did you get the info (verbally) from a mechanic or have you got the coolant changed by the mechanic in your presence?
I am worried that the one liter difference may be because the coolant may not have reached all necessary parts in my car (may be due to air bubbles).

I opened the radiator cap (top) when I reached home, and added some more coolant (around 100 ml) so that the coolant level in the radiator reaches the maximum possible (till the radidator cap). Do I need to check for anything else?
