My Octy's AC issue please help !!

HI,
I have been having an issue with my Skoda Octy 1.8 TPI.
The AC seems to go off everytime the car is stationary !!
The last time the car was at servicing I had pointed this out to them, but at the time, it was not as hot as now so maybe they couldn't tell the difference, but to it is quite obvious to me.
As the car starts to move the AC does come on and cools fine, but when I stop at a red light or something, it simply stops cooling, sometimes I feel I am just getting plain air back in!!
Can somoene help me to identify what is going on, as Skoda Service
people really are not good at their job.
Thanks a lot.

It looks like your radiator fan control system is the issue. Am surprised, the car has not overheated. What happens is that when the fans do not work or overheating is apparent, the AC is shut down.

I think it is maybe a thermostat problem, start there first. also check the fuses that sit on top of the battery

In RS i believe there are 2 fans, If his car is not overheating then probably the condenser fan might be the culprit.
