Hey Nitrous, Can I get the contact details of Kamlesh Patel's Electra? It seems that Sundaram Honda is screwing up. Another Honda 1.3 is due for servicing, may be I will try with this new guy.

Just an update:

Got the car back after service at Electra. Rs 5330 including front brake pads, engine flush (some sludge in oil) and an engine protectant treatment, alignment etc apart from the usual consumables.

Car drives much better now, thankyouberrymuch !

Recently our Honda City (99 model, 1.3 exi) developed lot of noise while riding in the bumpmy road. Found out the problem to be in the steering box.

Got the estimate from Sundaram Honda

Replacing Steering box assy: 14k, Replacing Lower Arm: 10k, Replace caliper pins: 2k, Replace Shock absorbers: 7k, Wheel balancing and allignment jobs: 1.1k, Align silencer:0.5k, Carryout 60000k service with Labour: 11k.

Total estimate was 45600/-.

Took the vehicle to Electra & was told that joint ***** needs to be replaced & muffler noise needs to be arrested. The total estimate was 3.5K. Zeroed in the problem exactly as what Sundaram does.

Happy with this guy (chikki), not along because he had given the quote for the exactly attending the problem, just we spent 10 mins there.

I love this difference in attending the customers so quick.
