Ideal Gear Shifts for a Lancer

Hi Everyone,

Have recently begun driving a Lancer SLXI Petrol. Could you guys let me know what the ideal gear shift pattern should be?

The manual I have seems to suggest some ridiculous numbers or I am reading it wrong. It says:

Drive Range

1st - 25
2nd - 50
3rd - 75
4th - 105

After typing that out I'm pretty sure I'm reading it wrong

Anyway getting back to the topic at hand, ideal gear **** speeds for a Petrol Lancer people...

Thanks!!!

Ignore the speeds, concentrate on the tacho instead. Ideal shift point I have found is 2,500-2,800rpm to keep up with city traffic. To just cruise in the city, I shift at 1,800rpm.
