Puzzling (and expensive) problem with Idle Speed ISA in Santro I got my Santro's 90K servicing done at Hyundai Motor Plaza (HMP), Delhi. I had to get some electrical work done (like changing reserve indicator, etc.).
However after taking delivery, my car broke down the next day - after getting it towed to a mechanic, I found out that there is some problem in the sensors, as the mechanic put it. He then disconnected the "silo sensor" and my car was working OK, while I drove it back to HMP.
There, it was diagnosed as a broken ignition switch and my Idle Speed Actuator (ISA valve) is busted.
I am being charged 7K for the same - does the ISA come out to be this expensive ? And how come the car was running with the silo sensor disconnected. Anybody have any ideas |
