@srini: This can be either due to the air inside the fuel filter OR if its mild its the typical diesel pitter patter/chatter which you need to live with.

I think you need to get the opinion of a better mechanic to confirm if it is really knock. If the engine is really knocking you need to check your fuel -if there is any petrol contamination or if your fuel lines are blocked partially if it is not either of the two it is an injector issue.

Its happening in accelerating not holding the the accererator.Its 60km to 80 km speed very slightly hearing.More than 80km speed it will hearing normal.I HAVE CHECKED WITH MECHNICS HE TOLD ME ITS KNOCKING SOUND.ONCE AGAIN I HAVE TO CHECK MECHANICS, PLEASE SUGGEST ANY ONE IN CHENNAI

Have you had your engine mounts checked? It sounds like there is some play in the engine mounts.
