Lancer taking off…

My Lancer makes too much noise specially in high speed… I guess the noise is from the tyres , it sounds like an aircraft taking off . What could be the problem??

I hv got wheel balancing, alignment and rotation of the tires done but still no difference.. Even the tires are not in too bad shape the grooves are still deep enough..

Any suggestion to get rid of the problem…

A dealer is a better way to get the problem known I believe.

For stock tyres the reason can be that the tyres are getting sticky.

for upgraded tyres cant say but many reasons maybe present.

A suggestion from my side though. clean the mud flaps and check the tyre pressure once and then see. You may already have done this but still a try is worth it.

If your tyres are the OE Bridgestones , (I think they are s 320's or something), then they are the culprits. These tyres start getting really noisy past the 15K mark. The only solution is changing them, a pity as they have a loy more life still in them.

I suggest to get opinion from the dealer, if we dont have any alternatives . Again this is purely from based on my experience with dealers. I met a guy from Thiruchy last week & happened to be a gate way for him to let his frustrations on his Lancer maintenance. Again he has complaints about the dealer, who charges him like anything.

Even Jyobeb is from TN, not sure about his experience. Already I had pointed out in a different thread about this. Please go through last bomb from my dealer

HM has lost a lot of dealers in the last few months. We had Kama motors in Ahmedabad and it had excellent service. It also had a mercedes dealership which helped us in getting quality service .Now they chucked mitsubishi and HM and got skoda. BUt there is a new dealership open. No problems on my side yet.

A serious point here. Email the people at www.lancerinindia.com and they will surely get to you. I had received a response within two days. try this . Maybe it will work for you.

Yeah I too had encountered that problem. Try again this time with a small mail. explain the problem in detail when you receive a personal mail from a person at HM.

Attempted with one liner and encountered the same problem. Do you have the email id of the HM executive who had responded to you?
