Palio 1.2-Clutch MC replacement = Dashboard removal?

Hi Folks

My car was given for service (@45000 Kms) yesterday and they told that the clutch MC has
small leak and it has to be replaced, and in the evening I went to visit the
service station and I saw my car's dash board completely removed with the
steering / inst. cluster and everything.

The service guy told that they had to remove the dash to check the clutch
properly. I doubt whether this is required for a clutch repair. What do
you think?

Clutch MC replacement? Do you know how it is carried out? By looking at some content in the web, I see that it requires some work inside, near the clutch pedal, may be that's the reason why they removed the dash.

My break fluid level never went down after the last service, so it was hard to believe when they told the clutch MC is leaking.

For replacing the clutch MC, the dash board has to be removed.

Here's what happened after the service, and how I got it resolved.
