My maruti 800 has extra energy

My maruti 800 2002 model, standard. sometimes, like, wants to surge ahead, with a wrooom, wrooom sound. mostly this happens when i am travelling back home from office and sometimes early mornings. I have noticed this tendency once the car is started after being parked for quiet some time.
this occurrence is maybe twice thrice a month.
The surge is really funny.
any technical explanation's, friends.

It appears that your rpm does not remain stable;get your throttle body serviced

Is you M800 Carb one?? If yes it can be the issue with the spring which is on the mixing screw. It can also be faulty accelerator cable which is not coming back as it should.

Does this happen only while running or the RPM are unstable while idliing? Does your car have AC? Which fuel?

Check for the accelerator cable joint near the paddle. Little amount of rust can cause this. Very risky in bumper to bumper situations as you tend to brake to avoid touching the car in front and the throttle revs the engine upon itself causing accidental movement of car.

Is your Maruti manufactured by Toyota?

agree with others, culprit must be your accelerator cable or related mechanism.
