That's not the issue, I have cleaned it, replaced it yet the air volume remains the same.

I got the AC on my wife's Santro checked and fixed this weekend. The place runs by the name of Aditya AC service. Its on the Outer Ring Road, towards Sarjapur-Ibulur junction Get on the service road after shell bunk and you would find it right opposite Shobha Hibiscus. Meet Mr Gowda there.
He cleaned up the coolins coils inside. Did not open up the dashboard; instead access the box by opening up the glove box. There was a lot of dirt and debris inside. And filled up gas as well.

Yes, the same place. Just checked the google reviews. Not that encouraging
I went here based on recommendation of the place where I service. Since you mentioned Swift, the time I was there, his boys were working on a swift Dzire.

BTW, another place that was recommended was a place near Ulsoor, towards the lake. Since the place was bit far from where I am, I gave that a miss.

Thanks, mine is a Dzire as well. You are right about the reviews though, so, I'll probably wait for a month to see how your cars AC performance has been and then go there. Looks like the effectiveness lasts only a month from the reviews

That review is weird. He might be having a leak in his system.

Re: Bangalore : Please suggest a Good Workshop to repair A/C

Hello Friends,
My 2006 Esteem has typical problem of gas leakage in few months but so no garage has spotted where it is leaking from. Does parking in open makes this happen? Any suggestion /solution to find out root cause of losing gas and recommendation of a good service center around South Bengaluru?

I guess you are referring to Mr. Tobia at WECOOL. While he is known as one of the best - I have noticed he is also careless (or should I say his guys are careless).

I had a Swift couple of years back when a rat got into the blower unit and a foul smell was coming out (due to droppings). I had brought it to Tobias and he did a cleaning (smell did not go completely though). He had removed the blower unit and cleaned the evaporator unit (without removing the dash). Told me I could collect the car at about 2PM. After collecting the car I saw a couple of small screws on the floor mat. Took it back to Tobia and he didnt even see it as a issue - he didnt basically know where the screws had come from and started making excuses saying that I fiddled with it.

Left his place. Sold the car some months after but decided not to go to him unless the repair involved only filling gas or adjusting hoses and no work such as removal of internal AC blower or components such as those.
