Hi,
If you have a complete insurance package that addresses the flood clause, going to an authorised dealer would help.
If you dont have an insurance package that covers the flood clause, then Mitsubishi dealers would prove very expensive.

There are a few local contacts here in Chennai and Bangalore would have their extensions in Mumbai as well.

There are known importers in Mumbai of Mitsubishi parts. If you get in touch with them it would be useful for you.

Besides there are guys in the forum who have modified their lancers, put an EVO engine to their stock car and made fabulous upgrades. If you get in touch with such people they would also add to your existing information pool.

Cheers,
Raaj Ks

If the ECM is bust I would ask you to consult a dealer.

not to say that the mechanics are not trained but the dealers have specially trained technicians. you can buy the part from outside and get it fitted from the dealer.

I once had my wagonR repaired outside with a genuine maruti spare and I had to get the job done again at the dealership. That was the first and the last time I got some job done outside a dealership. I would suggest you stay with the authorized service station.

It gives you a peace of mind.
