Palio 1.2NV - 48000 kms - PickUp problem after oil seal change

Dear BhPians,

I have a Palio 1.2NV, done 48000+ kms.
I noticed oil leakage few days back and had the local garage change them over this weekend.

At the same time, I also got the silencer replaced since the original one had rusted.

The engine oil was replaced completely with new oil(Servo).

The issue which I faced this morning while driving to work, I noticed loss of power when going up the flyovers - even with the AC switched off, it seemed the Palio was struggling in 3rd gear to pull up the flyover - whereas till 3 days back (i.e before this job), there was no issues at the same flyover with the car's power.
Even during the normal drice, I seemed to be putting bit too much pressure on the pedal to make teh car move! But once reaching a steady speed of 60kmph, there is no loss of power feel.

Anyone - can you provide with ideas on the issue as I am planning to go the the mechanic in a day or two for the problem.

i don't think changing oil seal will affect power delivery.

could be clogged air filter. when did you change the fuel filter? how is the clutch holding?

Where do you stay in Kolkata? where did you get the work done?

@planet_rocker:
- Air filter changed apprx. 5000kms back (but cleaned yesterday - air blowed while getting the seals worked upon)
- Fuel Filter : Oil filter New (yesterday)
- Petrol filter : at 20K
-Clutch is holding fine... no issues with the clutch

& well I stay in Mumbai now, last 5 years but still have a house in Lansdwone (opp. the market)
