Hey Guys,

Got the Balancing and the Wheel Alignment done, but haven't been able to test it at high speeds yet.
Will do it in today in the evening and will revert back to you with the findings.
Keeping my fingers crossed, that it will have solved the problem.

The alignment guy would have been able to clarify if the wheel was out if the wheels were imbalanced.Did he mention anything about the same when you went in for the balancing .Anyways let's hope you get the desired results.

The Camber was a bit out in the RHS.
As for the balancing of the wheels. A-OK
a minor weight of 5gms was added on to the Right Front wheel.

If its at those crazy speed, then its perfectly fine
On a serious front, can you elaborate "losing power to pull out" more?

No not at those crazy speeds.

Losing power- I mean is that the car at 3rd gear is doing easy 40-50, but sometimes I need to shift to 2nd because I can feel the RPM dropping.

Only at 3rd gear or all the gears & their max rev limits? Is it something like you're trying to overrev & you lose the torque? Gosh!!! 3rd & 50? I shift to 4th when my WagonR is in 40.

Great thread. My zen also has vibrations after 80 kmph. So much so that nearing 100 the whole dash vibrates. Will go to Nikhil's shop sooner or later.

Am not even gonna tell you at what speeds I shift to 4th.

Unable to tell you rev limits, as I don't have a rev meter. however, the loss of power is being felt on all gears. Do you think its due to the Clutch?

You should. It will improve the car's handling big time.

Vibrations at 120 Kph ; mine starts vibrating as soon as the speedometer needle touches 90; haven't dared to do beyond that.

I got my M800's done a couple of months ago at a MASS and it cost me around 7k.

That's so true, I happened to be in an emergency situation yesterday when this Indica driver, while talking over his cell phone, swerved into my lane, pulled the brakes and stopped, all in no time. I was doing around 50~60 kph and did not have the time and space to pump the brakes. Consequence, I stood on the brakes, the wheels locked up and I ended up hitting the Indica with quite a thud. I shall be driving with a deformed hood and malfunctioning horn (courtesy that insane driver) until the coming weekend

Yeah, I kinda considered that, but am considering if anything else is on the wear and tear mode to lead to such a power drop.

I'd need to hunt through my drawers for the invoice; would check and let you know.
