Modified engine gives u power 2 win!!

Modified engine gives u power to win! but at the same time does it effect the average?? its very confusing as one my friend aftre midifying his santro stated that the avg of car has increased!
Please put some light on it

now what exactly do u infer by saying that he has modified the engine..has he installed a high performance filter,freeflow,turboed,ported and polished etc etc..be more specific or else we will get no where..now now am i sounding like a mod..

He has got performance filter k&N, exauhst, servo charger, MSD cables

now as a matter of fact intsalling a filter and freeflow does tend to increase(increasing the airflow into the engine) ur average contrary to the fact that it decreses it..the matter of the fact is u tend to revv harder to hear that growl from the freeflow and thus the mileage goes down..driven normally the engine with these works will tend to give a better average..hope that helps..

Hey I think McLaren has beaten me to the answer. However what did you mean bu servo charger.

Well since am new to this this i don hve much idea about servo charger i belive its somthng which exausht the air at higher speed not sure.....

Like Mclaren stated, with a Performance Air filter and a Performance Exhaust installed on a stock car.

With appropriate driving conditions where the car is not pushed. The average of the car increases.
If the car is ripped then the average falls.

Is this Servo Charger thing for real, or is it just another scam like that Surbo/Turbonator? Looks dodgy to me...
