Govt Inviting Suggestions for Automotive Industry Standards

This Ministry of road transport and highways intends to notify the Automotive Industry Standards (AIS) for various parts/Components/assemblies used in the manufacture of Motor Vehicles.

The notice is given to all persons likely to be affected thereby that the said draft will be taken into consideration after the expiry of 30 days from the date of its posting on the website. (this notification was uploaded on 18/03/2010)

The objections and suggestions to these draft rules, if any, may be sent to the Joint Secretary (Transport), Ministry of Road Transport & Highways

The suggestions have to be mailed to either:
