Ketan, since its a non-CRDI engine in the palio D, U can safely use the Mobil1 5W50 which is rated at API-CF4 for diesel.

Only the CRD/multijet engines need CG or CH spec oil.

nitrous - Mobil 1 5W50 fulfills requirements for CRDI engines, i am using it in my Swift.

I just told this since I saw a Mobil1 5w50 can with a CF4 rating.Didn't know its been upped.

Nitrous i wasnot aware either, but before the oil change i PMed the oil guru Rtech who enlightened me.

alright,, so Mobil1 5W50 can also do its job here, I have also read about Shell Hellix range,,
i have limited knowledge about lubricants I guess, can anyone tell me the diff between 3 of them!!! Shell Helix, Mobil1 5W50 and Delo 400!!

I'm still looking for a shop in Blr where I can get Delo 400

Guys,
I own a Scorpio CRDe which requires oil higher than API CH-4 specs.Does anyone know of any Synthetic oil that is available in India that meets/exceeds this spec ?

Guys,

I have tried JC Road and could not find Delo 400, there was one small shop guy who was selling Delo Silver though, (the print says its caltext, a product of Chevron).

I went ahead and bought Delvec MX for my car...
I will update you guys if I notice difference after adding Delvec MX to my Palio-D

I'm still looking for Delo 400 if someone can help me find out where can I get it in Bangalore.
