Re: Ramar Pillai is back with a Cheaper Fuel !

What is wrong in giving a chance to a person. Let a group of scientists appointed by the Govt work with him and find out whats the truth. The way he is avoided makes me feel that the Cartel association of oil dealers or the Govt is restricting Ramar's invention.May be if he is allowed to carry on further, the oil companies cannot loot public always by saying that "They are unable to absorb the loss and therefore a price hike is neccessary"

Re: Ramar Pillai is back with a Cheaper Fuel!

He managed to successfully patent his formulae in 2008. Please check the patent link below from Google:
Patent US20110016774 - Velar Bio Hydrocarbon Fuel - Google Patents

A team of Indian scientists declared his work as fraud. A big group of politicians (One of the Marans) tortured him for getting this formulae, but failed. So, they took action by referring him to the CBI enquiry, which later accused him of buying large quantities of chemicals (for producing this fuel) without permission. Finally, there seems to _something_ in his discovery -- but, the Indian system failed to let this out. IMO, this is quite similar to biofuel production from Jatropa.

He has been struggling to gain support from us morons since 1996, but only managed to get his patent out in 2006 -- which is too late for any invention to gain fruition. This wouldn't have happened in the US. They even patent a tablet device that is rectangular and thin:
