Indica gear trouble.

Hi all,
I have a 2007 turbo indica. 43000km. For the past couple of days I have found
that its very difficult to slot the car into 1st and 2nd gear. 3,4 5 and reverse
are fine. Sometimes when i try 1st or 2nd it just does ot slot for 3 to 4 times
then slots into gear.
Any ideas on why this could be happening?
the clutch plate was replaced at 26000km by TASS citing burnout, ( i couldn't
see how since i dont ride the clutch and am a careful driver)

I had the same problem in my indica too,the gear would not shift into 1 or 2 and was very loose when moving to the left than right, the reason was that a spring inside the gearbox for 1st and 2nd gear was broken.
The cost of this spring is 10 bucks but to replace it cost around 3000 since the gearbox has to be opened

Did you get it rectified outside or at TASS? how did they diagnose the problem?

I got it replaced at TASS, i got the work done in front of me so i saw myself that the spring had actually broken into two pieces. So now on i am pretty gentle with the first and second gears
