Thanks for the information. Is CS35 is too dark or is it ok in the nights? I was having XX50 in my previous car and i was comfortable with the visibility in the nights.

I am planning to do by Haute car zone in OMR (close to my office) and they also quoting same price.

It'll be little dark and haven't driven that car in night. Seems it's ok.

Re: My new Ford Figo TDCi Titanium - Diamond White

Completed my first long trip from Chennai to Sivakasi. Covered around 1200 KM in total. Got 20kmpl average (90% highway with full a/c, and maintained 90 to 110 KM/per hours most of the time).

Attached some photos taken in the trip.

17K for 4 alloys in Tyre store. I was checking the 14K range, but didn't like anything in the available option there.

Re: My new Ford Figo TDCi Titanium - Diamond White

Hi Devakumar, your white figo looks awesome especially with your alloys. Actually even iam on the lookout for a diesel hatch. I have one query though, Figo comes with hydraulic power steering and i guess wagon r is electronic power steering. Which among these two did u feel comfortable to drive?

Wagon R steering is very light but don't have any feedback. It is effortless to drive, but you miss the 'driving feeling' and at high speeds you don't feel you are in control. If you drive a lot in city and bumper to bumper traffic, it is good.

Figo steering is bit harder than Wagon R (for that matter harder than any Maruthi or Hyundai cars), but gives good feedback and feels good / confident at high speeds. My vote goes to Figo

Re: My new Ford Figo TDCi Titanium - Diamond White - Now done 44,444 KMs

Updating the thread after a long time. Done with 44444 KM now. The performance of the car is still the same and good. Getting consistent mileage. Have upgraded the bulbs to OSRAM NB+ which results in significant improvement. Will be adding dieseltronic this week. Will post details once that is done.

Re: My new Ford Figo TDCi Titanium - Diamond White

Installed DieselTRONIC in my Figo two days back. Running in P1 mode for the last two days. Gives more smooth engine run and little better pickup / power. Done a short distance testing of P2 where i can see significant power difference. Planning to use P1, P2 based on traffic conditions. Will post more details when i had enough run.

Initial feedback is good and it bridges the gap (a small lack of power, but much needed) of stock Figo

Thanks to Team-BHP members who installed this and provided their feedback in the forums.

Re: My new Ford Figo TDCi Titanium - Diamond White

Replaced the stock mats with the one bought from http://www.carmatsindia.com/. The model is "Sigma Ultimate mats". The cost is Rs.2400/-

Pros: The mats are made for Figo and fit perfectly and also covers more area when compared to stock mats. Quality also better than stock one. Has additional padding for the driver side. Covers the center hump also in the back seat area. Has kind of 'bucketing' instead of flat. The bottom has some kind of nilon/ rubber and the top has soft material

Cons: I bought the darker (black shade) and shows dirt easily.

Bought online and delivered in 3 days. Overall much better than the stock one.

Re: My new Ford Figo TDCi Titanium - Diamond White

Replaced all the 4 tyres to Michelin XM2 185/65/R14. Earlier i had Michelin XM1+ 185/65R14. Total cost is 20K. Still keeping the stock good year for stepney. Below are the quick observations in the last 100 KM. The ODO is 46K now.

- Drive is little smoother over bad roads
- Steering marginally light (i can notice this in the parking lot and driving in lower speeds)
- Lesser road noise (My earlier tyre started giving considerable noise for the last 3 to 4K KMs. Now the additional noise is completely gone. Tyre noise is the main reason i went for change even though there were enough thread for another 10K)
- The threads in XM2 has large gaps when compare to XM1+, this may result in less number of stone catching i suppose. In XM1+, i can collect 20 to 30 stones in a tyre any time
- I don't feel any difference with respect to road grip or haven't experimented with respect to breaking. It felt good as usual.

Regards
Deva

Re: My new Ford Figo TDCi Titanium - Diamond White

Have done a 1800 KM long trip after the diesel box and XM2 update. Driving experience is much better than the previous trips. Got an average of 19.7 kmpl, for 400 KM of 2 lane average state high way and remaining 4 lane GST road. Was driving mostly in P2 mode.
