@Charthom - good to note that your UT is going in for 2nd free service. All the best mate.
Thanks,Mate. You are really supportive as always.

By the way friends, I am looking for some views and opinions for headrest monitors for my ANHC and I had posted the query below elsewhere in another forum. However, I am still yet to hear a reply for that so thought of posting it again here so that I can get a quicker reply.
I may have to research here. Saw the Mega audio monitor ad in mags.BTW, the Mega Audio HU seems to be good-I saw a review on TBHP. So their Monitors should be good too.

PS: My honda dealer has found a customer who is interested in my CD player for Rs 7K that was lying idle after installing Caska HU. So I need to shell out just another 5K for my headrest monitor. Sounds good eh :D?
Excellent.clap:The Honda guys at your end are really helpful. Nice to hear this.

HC,only 1550 kms.

Do you plan to change the engine oil?
Not now-at 5000 kms.

Disappointing to see that V kool has blistered out, any reason? may be workmanship
The rear glass is very tricky to stick and requires some heating before sticking the film.
If possible please stay back to supervise this work with regard to the quality of work and materials used.
Please update after the service
The winter too has contributed. they are replacing it now. i will get the car by evening.Yes they are heating it up.Unfortunately too pressed up for time-hence can't stay back for the job.

I will update after the job.

Any time any help-buddy.Check out mdsaab's ANHC thread-page no.24.

Folks,

Second free service was over yesterday. No oil change was done.

Basic checks again. Prompt service. There were no complaints-hence no extra jobs. The V Kool job could not be carried out- their work shop was closed due to Onam holidays. Anyway,a film job during the erains will be imperfect-will have it done in October/November. Present condition is very much passable-no big deal for the time being.

Hope you all are busy pampering your beauties- hardly any posts these days:D

Happy Onam to all-have fun.

Cheers,charthom.

Why no oil change? It is to be done as part of the 2nd free service.

Have you changed over to synthetic?

Only 1550 km running Libran- hence decided to change later. Guess no damage-my car will hardly run another 300 km before 3rd free service-now that I am leaving on the 13th to Finland. Will change the oil then.

I am not planning for synthetic oil as of now. Again very vague answer from the S.A. No uniform feed back from them about switching over to synth oil and service intervals.

Ok, then do prepone the 3rd service at least; during the intial days, the time of oil change also matters.

Don't think about synthetic till 10k kms. And given your running, it doesn't make sense anyway.

Cheers!

Good to know you serviced your car before leaving. There is no point of getting synthetic for a low mileage car, regular oil is sufficient. I have posted a query for you on my thread, waiting for its response.

So the dates are finalized now, sad to know you are leaving but the job has to be done. Will you be back on Diwali?

I may also have to separate from Venus for some 15-20 days to Mumbai later this month.

I guessed it so, because in my case I went in for 2nd service (3 months) with less than 1000 km and there was no need to change the engine oil.
But for the 3rd service (6months) at 2400 km the engine oil and filter were changed for the first time.
Honda's policy is to change the engine oil and filter every 6 months or 5k KM which ever is earlier.
Disappointing that you could not get the V-kool film fixed.
Happy Onam to all

@Charthom and Friends:Cannot wait to announce that I finally managed to get my ANHC installed with all the pending items that I had in the wishlist for a long time.

1) Headrest monitors (beige) with in-built DVD, SD, Gaming, USB slots. Got them integrated with Caska HU. Now we have two way DVD going back and forth. Brand - Worldtech
2) 3D Kagu Mats (Beige) exclusively for ANHC. They call it the i-Vtec model while retrieving the mats from store.
3) Infra Kool suncontrol for the front windshield.

I will be posting a detailed write-up with pics soon and take a long break from any more detailing for the car.

Happy Onam mate.

Cheers,
Kiran

I just finished off the pending jobs to make life easier for my wife. filled N2 for both cars so that the frequency of filling may be prolonged ie. monthly.

BTW,the tyre shop guy has clearly told me to check the air weekly/10 days and N2 monthly as a general case.

Thanks for the concern-bluevolt,reply already posted.

That will make the trip very exciting, my friend. Enjoy discovering Finland as much as you can, and bring back plenty of snaps (if you can). I will be eagerly waiting for March and your wonderful updates.

And Happy Onam from our family to yours! :)

Nope. I went straight for 3D that cost me 4.6K. I will post the pics soon.

How is the performance?
Performance is good as I could make out the difference in the amount of heat that I could sense now compared to what it was earlier. IK costed 10.5K and I find it a great VFH.

Well, can you really? :-)
Please find the link to the thread below dude.
