I would recommend it for a peace of mind. However please check on the forum as this has been asked before often. Opinions may vary.

Re: BMW X1 20d CE: Joy Experienced

Guys does anyone know when is the right time to change the brake disc rotors or how can we know if it's at the end of its life ? ASC tells me to replace it immediately and even frightened my driver by saying that the brakes might fail anytime while driving ( poor soul came driving back at 80 ).

My car has done 75,000 km currently.

HI .Anshuman you have the X1 for over 4 years now. What is your experience around service and maintenance costs (both service and spares). Any indication of BSI costs will also be much appreciated.

Hi Contrapunto, this was my friend's car. This car met with an accident long back, occupants walked out safe with no injuries, the car was declared total loss by insurance.
