So if a Vento owner happens to go to a mall, is he expected to carry the antenna with him?
Antenna rod is unscrewed and removed from the black triangle base. Easy as pie!

@STARCHILD; you have not updated this thread for sometime; so I wanted help with information on the NFS Service :

- Have you availed the 1st service for the NFS?
- What was your experience with the equipment etc?
- How has the mileage and performance of the car changed after the 1st service?
- Did you have to pay anything from your pocket towards the service?
- Are you dealing with Harpreet Ford, Gurgaon or elsewhere?

Awaiting your post. Any information will be deeply appreciated.

Cheers
Sugeeta

Yes Sugeeta, the 1st service was done on 7/10/2011. The car was taken to the Harpreet Ford Motinagar workshop, on appointment, by my dad's driver. We had two issues with the car, one being that the car would not lock automatically when in motion or after the ignition was turned on and the second was with the outside temperature sensor which was malfunctioning. We were informed that there is no auto lock feature in the NFS and after two follow up visits and several discussions with the "trained in Detroit" chief engineer the temperature problem remains unsolved.

There were no charges and the car was returned after around 4 hours.

The mileage has improved and the car is now giving around 11.5 KMPL in city traffic with AC.
