Thanks RemingtonSteele. You can see the surprises herehttp://www.team-bhp.com/forum/sound-...-cant-ice.html
I need to learn a lot from you in terms of car detailing. Have been through your thread where you detailed a step by step approach. I've already started collecting the equipment for the same

Charthom mate I owe you and your beautiful thread a lot. Have learnt a lot from them, it was of great help to me in finalizing the car. Haven't got an opportunate moment to do a full photo sheet (ugly weather here). Secret & suprises part 1 at

Thanks raVan, the problem is the parking is big enough but the entrance to the parking is pretty narrow. Someday a land cruiser

Thanks uday, I learned from reading the threads here that for Highway driving stock headlights are just not suitable. Hence the upgrade.

Nice pics and good report on your selection process. Any plans of going in for sunfilm?

Yes got the sunfilm installed

Arup, thanks for the kind words,Mate. Glad that my thread has helped. When I posted that thread there was hardly any new ownership report. Now the scene has changed for Honda-and people are again proud of the City.

You must be having a blasting experience now.

I was supposed to join on 13th.Had a back-pull. Now relaxing-my joining got cancelled. Am leaving for London on 19th,though the earlier schedule of Finland was better! Pain has subsided-hence decided to sit up and type a few posts.

All the best with your dream machine,Arup-have fun!!

OT:@bluevolt- no mate-as explained above I am still around. Had a back-pull,resting.Leaving for London on 19th-now. Will not leave without bidding you good bye, right!

Re: Honda City - Live your dream

Congratulations on your purchase. I bought my ANHC about 2 years ago and till date the beast has never let me down. You will really enjoy the car on the highway as it is zippy and will vroom past all others easily. It has one of the best petrol engines ever (i-Vtec rocks). Wishing you all the best and welcome to Club Honda!!

Happy Revving!!

Absolutely. It's getting hard for my wife to get me out of the car

Mate, sorry to hear about the back-pull. Hope you feel better. Was wondering if all of us could come together and form a AHNC club to discuss everything related to our machines. Agree that we would all form separate ownership thread but then you'll agree its cumbersome to sieve through layers of AHNC threads for that one answer. Just my thought.

Yes hardly any reports and no official review of the ANHC by T-BHP.

Hi charthom, sorry to hear about the back-pull; Wishing you a quick recovery.

That was what I was also wondering! How you can go without making an official statement.

London is also not a bad place to go, enjoy your stay and do try to log in to catch up with us.

EDIT - @pravin t-bhp official review thing has started much later after ANHC was launched; that's why it was skipped. But I expect a review from t-bhp of the facelift model.

The new ride is doing great. Dad has not been using it a whole lot but is definitely enjoying it when he uses it.

Re: Honda City - Live your dream

Hey Arup, Thats a great setup dude. I got to see this thread from your main thread and am glad I didn't miss it.

1) How much did the total cost come to?
2) Did you check with the Honda dealer on the warranty stuff as you have got it installed outside? Just ensure that they do not create any issues for you in future.

Real good job done by our fellow BHPian. Truly professional.

Have fun.

Cheers,
Kiran

Re: Honda City - Live your dream

Greeting fellow bhpians. Travel & work kept me away for a few months but I'm back to the board. Months have quickly flown by and my dreams larger. My city has completed its mandatory 2 free services and is in free flow. Even though it stays covered, the amount of dirt it gathers can put a dessert storm to shame. Now than I am home I decided to get her a session at the spa. The date was fixed on Sat 3rd Feb. Armed with my full detailing kit I let the lady relax while I worked away to making her dirt free and get back her shining glory. I'll let the pictures do the talking

They cost around 8K for a pair and I think that it should be possible to install new ORVMs as the current one are also electric with wiring. Do confirm from Honda guys before making the decision.
