Are these inline with your bill.

How is your car performing. Any suspension issues coz there is some bush noise coming from the front suspension and the SA said it's the bush and not the suspension which is bad. Other than that my car is going super smooth without any issues.
For me, the oil was slightly on the higher side, around 4k, dont know why. Are you sure the oil filter is for 2.2k? it could be the fuel filter. Please confirm. The oil filter was much cheaper.

No issues with the suspension, as she is driven in the city only, but do get the re-inforcement plate under the engine, makes funny noise at times. The suspension bushes on my car were in good condition as were other joints and links.

[quote=gauravdgr8;3004755]This is the overall estimate given by Concorde:

[quote]

Could not take the car as had a meeting in Office. However the SA called and briefed me about the work done:

1. Synthetic Engine Oil
2. Oil Filter
3. Air Filter
4. Diesel Filter
5. Suspension is good, it's the bushes that have been changed under warranty
6. Alternator belt changed under warranty
7. LORVM fixed and painted

Will be going tomorrow to take the car. It's gonna be a testing drive next week to Raipur through the bad stretch of Maharashtra border on AH44.

Re: Tata Vista Refresh: Fuego completes 15000 kms of niggle free driving

Symphony!

That's what comes to my mind after the car is filled with Synthetic Oil.

Here is the break of charges after the 20k service.

1. Engine Oil : 3318 + tax
2. Diesel Filter : 2028 + tax
3. Oil Filter : 300 + tax
4. Air Filter : 300 + tax

Apart from this the LOVRM was fixed and the charges were as follows:

1. LOVRM : 1124 + Tax
2. Painting : 350 + Tax

Things replaced under warranty:

1. AntiRoll Bar bushes
2. Alternator Belt
3. Dicky suspension

Work done was absolutely perfect with no room for error. Since the car was taken in the afternoon, they gave the car a rewash.

The SA was overwhelmed by me as he mentioned that there are only 2 Vista's which want the Synthetic Oil to be filled. Maybe you people are from the engineering background and understand the benefits. He was a very subtle guy.

One thing that I noticed while I was there: The Service Manager was brifing the SA's that before delivery, you have to brief the customers about the work performed along with the charges. Good practise being reinforced.

Overall the car is running perfect. I am one of the customers for TATA who is running niggle free.

Say it my luck, or other people's bad luck.

Celebrating FUEGO's 1st Anniversary with some pictures

Took this shot as after a year, the car still shines new. There is no 3M protection work done.

Tata Vista Refresh -Young & Strong - Update - Sold @ 80,000 kms-paint.jpg

The heart of the Vista.

Tata Vista Refresh -Young & Strong - Update - Sold @ 80,000 kms-heart.jpg

The following mods are something that I have thought about.

1. ECU Remap - Either RD or an Engine Remap. Let's see if someone can tune the car to 90+ bhp.

2. Autorunners on all 4 shocks.

3. Projector Lamps.

Point 1 & 2 will be taken up after the Ladakh trip. Point 2 is on the cars in the near future.

Re: Tata Vista Refresh: Fuego completes 15000 kms of niggle free driving

Congrats on the 1st anniversary. One year old looks like just delivered . You have done a good job maintaining it. I too have a Vista, Safire90. All your observation on the car is on same lines as mine, well yes apart from the Engine.
Wow Ladakh, that will be a true edurance test for both car and its driver. Good luck mate.
One question, what do you do to keep the car sparkling, mind sharing the secret.

Happy Driving and more mile crunching.

Arun thanks. The car is washed daily. Once a month use an Amway Car Shampoo and polish. Had gotten the teflon coating done after delivery and again last week. That's about it. Lastly never park it in scorching heat.

Autorunners are mainly to control the sponginess of the shocks. This is being thought for Ladakh only. It stiffens the suspension and reduces body roll.

Drawback: Added stress on shocks.

It's a plug and play kind of thing on the shocks which can be fitted by us.

Re: Tata Vista Refresh: Fuego completes 15000 kms of niggle free driving

When you don't like to fly high in a plane and train becomes a form of transport of the bygone era, you fly low. That's what we have been doing in the last year with the Vista.

It's become our mainstay to go around the country.

Did a Hyderabad - Raipur trip last week.

Route taken: Hyderabad - Adilabad - Nagpur - Raipur
Road Condition: Excellent 4 lanes till AP-MH border. Road conditions on the MH side have improved a bit.
Initial 20 km stretch which has rough patches takes around 25 minutes to cover and the other 20 kms takes another 20 mins.

Work on the 2nd stretch for 4-laning is in progress and should be done by monsoon.

Overall the conditions have improved greatly and taking this stretch is not a nightmare, however in the daytime.

Started from Hyderabad at 8:30 am and reached the Raipur byepass in Nagpur at 2:30 pm. This after taking a 30 mins break in between.

Nagpur - Raipur: 4 laning work in progress between Nagpur - Bhandara. From there on excellent 4-laned roads.

Overall Hyderabad - Raipur was done in 12 hours with an hour of break.

On the return trip the route was completed in 12 hours with 2 hours of breaks.

Overall speed never maintained at 110-120.

Overall mileage 18.5.

Re: Tata Vista Refresh: Fuego completes 15000 kms of niggle free driving

Recently saw the Live Telecast of Vista D90. Seeing the car doing donuts, my daughter said, papa our car became a sports car.

Well D90 comes at a very interesting price point:

Vista D90 : Raipur : 6.14 lacs
Swift VDI : Raipur : 6:37 lacs

What do you get in the bargain:
  1. More Powerful Engine
  2. Improved Suspension
  3. Nice HU with Navigation
  4. Climate Control
  5. One Touch Power Windows
  6. Follow Me Home Lights
  7. Rear Spoiler
  8. Infinity Contrast Roof
  9. Manza Styled Dash
  10. Alloy Wheels
  11. ABS
  12. Strong Built due to a 105 KG heavier Steel Frame (as per the webcast)
The car is feature rich. The webcast mentioned of a world class showroom and service centre opened up in South Ex - Delhi and Prabhadevi - Mumbai. Also mentioned about the same being replicated across India.

The car is now a killer.

Which version is priced at 6.14L? VX or ZX? Whatever, need to tell this is a TERRIFIC VFM now! It will be really sad if it does NOT shake the sales charts!

6.14 is ex-showroom for the VX trim but you do not get ACC, Follow-me headlamps, and alloys. The fully loaded is the ZX+ variant which has all the features but is 6.97L.

That's VX.

My bad. Right. Those 3 features are on the ZX+

However ZX+ is cheaper by 50k when compared to the ZDI and does still make more VFM.

re: Tata Vista Refresh - 2 years, 40k kms & still young

Hey guys just thought I would add my bit here. I own a pre refreshed Vista. So far the car has covered 49400 kms and believe me I have not had any problems. so dont worry about it giving you any problems.
I think its a great car and as long as you get it serviced on time, it will not give you any problems.

Here are some snaps taken recently. She is going to be 4 years this december.

36k in 2 years with absolutely no headache. That's something many will say it's an exception from TATA.

Plan was to drive the car for 2 years and upgrade, however I feel another year is justified.
