My guess would be gasoline fueled Red Fauw-Vay Polo?

re: YetiBlog® - TheOne® buys a car. (VW Polo 1.2 )

The first Yetiblog I read was your purchase experience of the Superb!

That was when I did not know the power and addictiveness of the Yetiblog.

Since then I have completed all of your blogs!

Today, F5 fever strikes tbhp again!

I am sure by the time this blog is complete my keyboard's F5 button would become a plain white button!

Then I shall get a sticker made 'More Yeti' and stick it over!

And that is my 50th post on tbhp!!!!!

I guess it might be Honda Jazz or a Polo.

Let's see how it goes.

Hi Sam. Amazing write-up as usual.

Did your wife consider getting down a car here from Germany under the Transfer of Residence scheme? I'm sure some of us here would have liked to have seen a hot hatch like an Abarth 500 or a Focus RS here.

Only issue i feel with this would be the cost involved in getting the car transported here & being an LHD. Also i think there is a clause which says you have to own the car for some years in that country before getting it here?

Anyways, eagerly awaiting what happened next!

Your post inspires me to write,

GTO & Team - should be happy that team-bhp has you,

I was going to have lunch but cannot miss your post & now I am late for lunch - I know that climax is yet to come.

Let's see which car was chosen by the lady & why,

Keep going Sam.

Nice to have a yeti thread again. Don't keep us in suspense for too long, Sam.

I guess the choice will boil down to a 1.6 Polo / Fabia or a 1.4 Punto. Let us see how it goes.

LOL! The Yeti has unleashed his humorous fury again. There is no way I could have escaped reading this. The way your thread unfolds reminds me of the movie scripts. Slowly and steadily we move towards the climax and each scene is worth the time.

You could be among those lucky 'few men' if not don't worry, Sam will still buy you lunch

As the forum regulars know, I am the Yeti®. My stories are called YetiBlogs and they are not around as often as some people would like them to be. You will find a few on this forum for sure.

I was named so here at Team-BHP (and YEARS before Skoda released a car by that name), perhaps because of my wandering, travelling ways or because I am rather large and hairy. Nobody is really sure.

My wife did not buy a Yeti. And she most certainly did not buy me, I was transferred for free.
While I think she got a great deal she does debate the matter occasionally.

Perhaps you did not read the part where it says that her office is 3kms away from our home. And we have 2 other vehicles for weekend driving. A diesel would make no sense at all.
My bad, I read someone's post which mentioned a Yeti, and assumed that was it. But heck, yeah, I've been reading your posts earlier, and know about your nick.

So which car was it, I'm guessing, either a Polo/Fabia/Punto. These are the best looking european hatches, and I'm thinking since there's already a Superb, its probably the Fabia.

Glued to the thread, as always.

My bad! my bad!!

Seems I've have been Yeti-fied over a picnic 2 weeks ago. Prior to that, it was a Fiesta-stic outing.

So, finally YOU are the Yeti, Sam, as in the abominable snowman up there in the mountains. Yes, got it finally.

The narration is truly wonderful. Add one more to your list of confirmed fans.

Cheers

Sam,
1. My F5 key will surely give away someday courtesy your blogs.
2. My boss is going to charge you for diminishing productivity at the office.

Amazing writeup, glued to the thread, as always.

PS. My bet is on the Fabia 1.6/ Polo 1.6.

Cheers,
Tapish
