Do we know whats the Mumbai onRoad cost for this..
Has anyone fitted the bluetooth kit for their Dzire provided by Maruti? The bluetooth kit was quoted at Rs. 3,500. But as they did not have any kit available, I was not able to get details.
It seems that wiring will be concealed and the aux port will be used to connect the kit to the stock speakers. If there are any information on the model number or the specification of the kit, it would help me in deciding if I should go with Maruti or purchase the kit elsewhere.
I am interested to know:
* The audio quality
* Features
* Can I stream music from the mobile phone?
* Power source (12v or batteries)
Now, that is a total washout for Etios for sure but good competition to Amaze. How will Etios look upto DZire now which was already so much better? :) only in the look and feel aspects though.

With the buzz created by the recent launch of the Honda Amaze, Maruti Suzuki decided to launch a limited edition version of the Dzire, Called the Dzire Regal, priced at Rs 5.95 lakh ex-Mumbai/Rs.5.60 lakh ex-Delhi, which is about Rs.7000 more than the current Vxi. The car is only Available in the petrol variant in the mid-level Vxi trim. The 1.2-litre K series 87PS petrol engine has been left unaltered, but there are some cosmetic changes to both the exteriors and the interiors.
Changes to the exterior include :
1. A new Serene Blue colour.
2. Silver-finish to the grill along with the fog lamps and ORVMs.
3. Body coloured mud flaps
4. Rear parking sensors.
5. Like any other maruti special edition, there are body graphics as well.
Changes to the interiors, :
1. Stainless steel door sills
2. Beige floor mats.
3. Wooden inserts to the armrests and on door pads.
4. Integrated music system, with tweeters and auto volume control.
5. Leather-covered steering wheel.
6. Beige faux leather cushions.
7. Embroidered seat covers.
8. Regal Car Perfume, yes a car perfume is considered as a premium feature by Maruti. :p

Congratulations sinner. Welcome to the DZire club :D. It looks much better than in the pics which were surfacing before.
I don't know about Mumbai, but yours is surely the first DZire regal on Team-BHPstupid:.
Do post some more pics.
Question on the head light level adjustment knob.
The default setting is at 0, for driver alone in the car. My undertanding was that as the number of people in the car increase, the setting should be increased accordingly. However, when I do that, I see that the light throw shortens and that makes visibility extremly bad and I have to keep it at 0 only. My understanding was that, the throw should increase (move further away from the car) as the numbers increase (0,1,2..). Am I missing something?

It is the other way round. The throw is maximum when the setting is at 0 and decreases as the numbers increase. Don't know the logic behind this, but it is how it works, atleast for my Wagon-R and mostly all the Maruti cars.

My earlier car, Tata Indica was the opposite and I believe that is how it should be. Depending on the weight of the car, the throw should be at the optimum, but in this case with the throw getting reduced, visibility is impacted:deadhorse
Has anyone ever tried something like this on their Dzire? The driver side armrest, after market and available on ebay. Not sure if MGP has this as an accessory. I believe this would be really wonderful to have on the long drives.

This is the same one I put in my fiesta.
And yes, it's a godsend on long drives, even medium ones.
It gets in the way when you have to shift a lot, but that's easily taken care of by putting it back up.
