I think we should have a Sportscar/RS5 club in Delhi considering they are selling two a month.

Yup - I am aware. The founder is known to an associate of mine. Will contact him.
Thanks for the reminder. Kinda slipped my mind.

Just love the RS5 for everything it offers in such a usable package. When can we expect some videos of the car? I would love to hear the exhaust!

Re: Audi RS5 - Initial Ownership Report (1800 Kms)

So there're quite a few RS5s in NCR. From what I have heard the number is round 15. Good to see Indians finally spending on the 'impractical' segment .

saw an RS5 white this morning around 945 AM on the road leading up to the Faridabad Gurgaon road. Dunno if it was yours, but it sure was a pretty sight!

Having owned and now enjoying one, don't you feel that the 'impractical' tag isn't really justified?
It might not be a SUV for broken roads or you might not feel its plush as the barge you could have bought instead and that your wallet screams while tanking up with premium stuff, that it still a lovely piece of art? I am sure the lady of the house would be thinking otherwise but the smile plastered everyday makes it worth while.

Enjoy!

I couldn't possibly agree more with what you say. My sentiments exactly. The word 'impractical' was used ironically hence it was put in quotes.

Yeah, I got those air quotes with the big grin.

How is it living with the beast, do share the practical aspects

I'm gonna share a practicality report if you will, when I hit 3500 or so.
In a nutshell, it's very very practical. Golf (including 2 sets), night outs etc are handled with aplomb. The ride is a bit firm in the beginning but once you get used to it, it gets better.
Here is no reason whatsoever why you wouldn't use this as a daily driver.

Zkalra just went through your entire thread. Go the opportunity to drive the RS5 today. Man oh man! What a car, unbelievably fast!

Every time you up-shift the engine makes a noise that sounds awesome! Can just imagine the fun you'd be having driving this car!

True that. The sound while up shifting and downshifting is intoxicating and addictive. Makes even plain, short drives a lot of fun. It's one of the highlights of the driving experience for me.
