Hey I got my car finally and enjoying every bit of it. The cover note has an IDV of 7,71,*** which is approx 95% of the ex-showroom as I told you earlier. So did you check your again?
Also the dealer is taking you for a ride once more. Nissan does offer you free services. Refer to this post http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/offici...ml#post2748638

Hope you get things sorted out. Infact even the service booklet mentions about the free services in the booklet.

I got my extended warranty finally after 3 months.
Yes indeed there was a free check up at 1000km not a service.
They had the car for 1 hrs+ and my driver said they did do some top ups and stuff as I did not have any other problem or niggles with the car.

Stupid question but please pardon my ignorance. Where do they mention about the extended warranty? Do you get a certificate or is it mentioned in your booklet? I did pay for it too but I am not sure if its mentioned anywhere. Have to check the documents again.

Its a separate document I got from the dealer.
It supposedly comes from Nissan Head office via courier after the car has been delivered, so you got to wait for sometime.
Please confirm with your dealer right away.

Seeing your threads and others too, am planning to book a Sunny diesel. Am just worried about the maintainence and service of this car. How would you rate the experience, including the cost?

I received the extended warranty booklet together with the warranty at the delivery time itself.

I guess they have started streamlining things from the Nissan side.
Nissan has become more active in tuning up all the dealers to better their customer care. I see a little betterment in their attitude these days.

Dear Visaster

Just finished reading your thread, great work man i am very much thankful to you for throwing light at various things regarding Sunny which helped me zero down on XL. I have one question to ask is the 165 mm GC enough for our tamilnadu humps as they are designed like a wall to challenge every Sedan passing them, Y didn't you change the stock 14" setup to 15".

Will PM you for few other helps .
