You might want to check with other dealers in Mumbai or Pune. I am sure they would sell accessories separately. Assume someone has a TRD Kitted Fortuner. If say the front bumper TRD Spoiler breaks, He would need a replacement. He has to buy the same as a spare part.

You might want to import it from Thailand if Money is not a problem. . The Thing that I like about the Thai Kit is that the TRD Version gives TRD Shocks also.

EDIT: Painting the Fog Lamp to OEM Color, gives the Fortuner a Ford Endeavourish Look.

Instead of paint why not use the original toyota fog lamp chrome covers. They look classy and give that extra shine to fog lamps. Just dont use chrome on the bonet as it looks horrible and cheap there!

Somehow missed this post! Now since you told me it's a DRL, I digged it back in your thread itself. Please do post some more pictures of it. It looks stunning!! Well worth the price.

Hi friends ,

Just bought my Fortuner a day back. It's in white and looks the best. I have a few queries as to the accessories. What is the best place to buy them specially the Crome and the guards, is Toyota the best or the outside market. As for the ownership experience its the best SUV for the price and a sheer driving pleasure.

Hi Kedar - where did you get the fog lamp upgrade done in bombay, and who did your entertainment system installation. I am looking to get this done on my new fortuner and need a reliable contact so as to ensure no issues with the warranty later.

thanks

I am really sorry for not updating this thread regularly.
The fortuner odometer stands at 48,000kms mark today. In all these 48000 kms, there was not a single complaint in it.Absolutely nothing.

The services are done periodically and are very economical for a 30L Suv.

Kudos to Toyota for building a bullet proof battle tank!!!!

Re: Wheels of Fortune : 2012 Toyota Fortuner 4x4. First on Team-BHP

The fortuner has done 56000 kms in 2.5 years.Unlike my Xuv5oo,fortuner has visited A.S.S only for regular services and not for any complaints. It still feels like a brand new SUV even today.

Everyone is aware that the fortuner has a tad bumpy ride and the second row is not as comfortable as innova. So I decided to tweak the second row,and was able to install innova captain seats in my fortuner.
I procured used 2 innova captain/bucket seats from a nearby garage for about 20K.
Installation was very easy and was done by the garage guy itself,no drills in the body, just had to gas weld innova brackets and it was done like a factory job.

Next thing was to match the upholstery,I headed straight to Orchis in Powai.I asked him to strip the seats, remove the fabric and fit upholstery directly to the foam.I also asked him to improve the thigh support by extending it to about 3" with heatlon sheets. They did it a fantastic job of matching the color and design.I got the front armrest also covered in leather. The steering leather had worn out,got it replaced and the fit is at par with the original setup.

Overall very happy with this mod,and it feels more comfortable in the captain seats.Enjoy the pictures.
