Can we read this as an indication that the Ertiga facelift may come with AMT ??

re: Review: 1st-gen Maruti Ertiga

Is there a reliable Seat cover dealer in Chennai who can work on adding Captain seats in the second row?

If this is happens, Maruti has my money. Really hoping for it. But scared they might not extend it to the Diesel version like in case of Dzire.

re: Review: 1st-gen Maruti Ertiga

The current version looks much better than this IMHO. I simply cannot digest the looks of this facelift. The chrome & red strips on tailgate clearly looks an afterthought. Not too impressed with the front either. Yet another bad facelift after the Dzire in my opinion. Present version has clean looks.

The interior too retains full beige colour scheme which is not to my liking. Addition of AMT (if offered in India) is a welcome step though, and will increase the utility of the car. In spite of these dislikes, I cannot deny that it is still a very capable car.

Apart from split 3rd row seat and possible AMT suzuki has been very conservative

Their philosophy behind facelift must have been why fix something that is not broken ?

Damn! those beige interiors again ! Can we change those interiors as an after-market option?

Come on MSIL, launch the facelift already now.

In my opinion, it is a standard torque converter or a CVT unit, does not look like AMT from picture.

It is a conventional CVT and not an AMT.

AMT will be first put in the WagonR and Dzire. Only then will it see coming into the Ertiga.

I am shocked to see no ACC in this facelift too and beige dashboard (upper part). I was expecting a black dashboard (top layer).

The images do not show the Button for AC (with "AC" on it) and I only see the button for Fresh Air-Internal Circulation exists.

Also, the door levers are not chrome which is a case with V and Z variants but I do see Audio control buttons on the steering wheel.

Can't say if they won't come with Auto Climate Control AC at all but considering that the rear cooling Unit is heavily dependent on the primary AC, I wonder if Ertiga facelift will have ACC at all.
