@bigron: that's actually not bad for an AT. That too after clocking 80k or more.
How are the suspensions after all this driving? Any major issues at all?

Re: My Hyundai Sonata Transform CRDi

Yea , I am okay with the average my car gives. The suspension is holding up quite well and no overhaul just yet. Though I am out of warranty now. Largely speaking , no major issues apart from rattles and creaks that have cropped up. I am very satisfied with the car.

Re: My Hyundai Sonata Transform CRDi

Some pictures of my one year old as promised:

I didn't realize till I read about the dimensions of the car that this one is actually longer and wider than a Toyota Innova. Sometimes, she is a handful to drive in bumper-to-bumper traffic in Bangalore, but on the highways, wow!

With Nandi hills at the backdrop:

Some may feel she is a bit bland at the back, with all the squarish tail lamps; may be so. But it's cool. Extra set of rear fog lights are very handy, especially when driving in the rain.

24.2K Kms on the Odo. That's just in her first year. Like I said, I thoroughly enjoyed driving every kilometre on this beauty.

This is my area. One thing I really miss is the BT audio system. It would have been a boon to have it in this car. Also, I keep seeing advertisements in Autocar magazine about being able to make "flip keys". Has anyone with this car on this forum tried to make flip keys? would be good to know.

Those wonderful rear seats, oozing leg room and comfort all around. I was too lazy to pull out my camera bag out.. All my passengers who sit in the rear seats have never failed to state how spacious the car is:

If you are too keen on having a bt head unit let me tell you that i have got one for myself from dubai (caska type) which is a bt ready dvd player with navigation and touch screen. Its color is same as that of our head unit. I installed it in my car but uninstalled it after a week because it was not as easy to use as the atock one while driving. If you are interested i can sell it to you. No change in wiring etc. its plug and play. Fits exactly instead of stock head unit and looks like an oem. Has 7 inch touch screen with tv and intenet dongle connectivity.

Hey karan .. Thanks for the offer mate. Not looking at changing anything now, just expressed a wish that's all. But thanks a ton for the offer will come to you if I need it.

Oh. Am using a mobile version so missed it. Sorry mate. Yeah. Looks very neat and looks like the vehicle ages quite gracefully. Am happy about that. Very particular about how the car ages and looks like you maintain it well too.
Thanks for the pics.

Re: My Hyundai Sonata Transform CRDi

@ karan - Could you upload the pics of the head unit you bought. I might be interested. A link showing its description/features would also be helpful. Thank you.

@karan @ron: Have either of you changed from the stock speakers? If yes which ones and how does it perform? Any tips would be of use.
