It even shows co-ordinates, altitude, course and time!

There is good space, but unfortunately split across multiple compartments, which throws up challenges sometimes. e.g. I am not able to shove my DLSR D90 in any one of the storage spaces.

DSLR is something which is very huge buddy!

No. Nothing apart from what is mentioned in the manual.

Its a mini-fraud by the dealers. When I got my reverse-camera installed from Pune for 3200 Rs, I was quoted ~5000 for the same in Mumbai.

If someone has some time to spare, may be it can be taken up with the customer-care and XUV FB page.

All is well in Mumbai, unless you have very dark films like 5 or 20.

How? I have read of people spending 40K on vKools on this forum. Never researched them after reading about the ridiculous price. Am I missing something?

V Kool even has an Economy series, but you will have to specify that you need that one. They will recommend you only the expensive ones.

Even the Economy series is damn good. The difference is heat rejection from the premium series is minor.

I m glad that the famous M&M "Self Heal" is a standard feature on the XUV too.

I dunno if this is present across manufacturers but M&M vehicles certainly have it and once you get used to it, it is actually quite cute.

By and by, have you tested the effectiveness of its chiller? How good is it in chilling a can of soda from room temparature to a chilled state?

Yes, we have had 2 long distance trips... it wont cool a bottle by itself, but it will keep a chilled bottle cool!

I am using the flexible angry bird pouches. It cools them within an hour or so. Also because they are flexible I have stuffed two pouches and chocolates etc few times on interstate drives and it serves the purpose.

Congrats Raj for your Xoovy. The pictures are awesome and i envy you for your white beast. XUV has been one of my favourites and i always wanted to own one but somehow destiny had something else for me as i had to move out of India to a country where Mahindra's presence is next to NIL. Just one query, have you faced problems with central display for tiretronics showing error message?

'Read SMS' doesnt work with mine. However, mine is W6 so diff IS version etc.
Thats the part of list I have on my first service, on a lower priority though.
